Hi everyone, we are a family of four from Rafah, in the Gaza Strip. There’s my father, who lost his hearing due to bombing hitting very close to our tent, my mother who suffers from severe arthritis and osteoporosis, my older brother, who was hit by a shrapnel that was lodged close to his spine and was cut all along his abdomen, and there’s me, Mohammed, the youngest, who was supposed to take his high school diploma and move to the university, but our lives froze because of the carpet bombing and the starvation campaign. We lost our home in Rafah, where there’s almost no buildings left standing. I had been betting my life trying to get food at those traps set by the GHF. Other food in the markets rarely appears and it’s very expensive. We wouldn’t ask, we feel we have to put even our dignity on the line but it’s either this or the end. We’d like to leave Gaza, too. Please help us survive and, possibly, leave this scenery of devastation. We would always remember you in our prayers. A friend from Italy is helping us to get this campaign going.
